Welcome back:). Throughout my experience in college, and especially in IS101, I learned a lot of new skills. One thing I learned especially is time management. My time management was always right on time or last minute, which is pretty good, but it can be better. Now I always try to turn things in extra early, or right on time. I also understand that my work life, and health can hinder my performance, but that is also my responsibility to set my priorities. Another thing that Professor Wu taught me is to make my assignments perfect. Yeah sure our assignments can be too much sometimes, or to confusing, but it's not like he is hard on us students as well, he gives us basically an infinite amount of redo's and also helps us get 100%.

Hello Joshua! It's great to hear about your experiences in college, especially in IS101. Time management is such a crucial skill, and it sounds like you've made significant strides in that area. Turning things in early or on time is a fantastic habit, and I agree that setting priorities for work and health is key to overall success. Keep up the great work, and here's to continued success in your studies!
ReplyDeleteJoshua, time management is an elusive skill, you can always get better at it. Keep working at it with Professor Wu's assistance, set a goal to get one in on time 100% perfect! I'm trying and failing miserably.
ReplyDeleteHey Josh, time management can certainly be tricky. It just takes a lot of discipline. One day you might want to hike Mt. Charleston peak and get away from the city life, but not have the time to finish the hundred other assignments of this IS101 class.
ReplyDeleteI definitely understand why Professor Wu wants our assignments to be done picture-perfect. I agree with you that he isn't doing this to be rude but to prepare us for our life after college. Once you and I graduate and gain jobs, the skills and attention to detail we learn from him will put us on the path to success.
ReplyDeleteI have terrible time management as you can see, I'm hoping with time I'll get better at it, this class was to definitely help me get better at it but the further I go into these classes the more I'll get better and not stress myself out with so many assignments to do at once. You are not alone!
ReplyDeleteHello Josh! I agree with the last part of your post the most. One of the more interesting parts about this class is that deadlines have been a little more lenient in exchange for submitting assignments at 100% completion, no matter the amount of tries it takes. This has forced me to slow down and make sure that I understand the requirements and double check my work before submitting assignments.
ReplyDeleteHey Joshua, I totally agree that the assignment can sometimes be too much and overwhelming, but it is amazing how Professor Wu offers the opportunity to redo our assignments, aiming for that perfect score of 100%.
ReplyDeleteHi Josh, I agree with time management. Its always good to be on top of things and to be ahead. However Professor Wu, is also a huge help in making sure we are always OK and on top of our work.
ReplyDeleteTime management is always a difficult skill to learn but an imperative one. Professor Wu is great to work with and really will do so much to help us perfect our quality of work.
